Anchoring Gratitude
"Gratitude is a powerful catalyst for happiness. It’s the spark that lights a fire of joy in your soul.”
– Amy Collette
Shift the lens of your perception to that of love and gratitude, and notice how the wonder and magic of life becomes visible all around you.
Anchoring Gratitude
Gratitude. What does it mean to be grateful? It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. A time when we’re more expected or told we’re “supposed” to be grateful for the people and things we have in our lives. But what does it really mean to embody and anchor gratitude into our consciousness every day?
It means to honor and see the joy in life. It’s another word for expressing unconditional love even when we perceive something as wrong or negative, and loving the parts of yourself that do the judging. Gratitude is an opportunity to invite more love into your life and the world.
So how do we express loving gratitude even when you may feel at rock bottom? One spiritual teaching shares that it begins by sending love to the parts that judge or perceive things as wrong or bad and gives three empowering gratitude phrases to incorporate. You can choose the one that feels right in the moment:
1) I am grateful for my life 2) I wish I was grateful for my life 3) May All Beings be blessed with gratitude and light
These phrases begin to anchor gratitude into your consciousness and awaken more moments of joy, passion, and love into your life. This begins to shift your perception so you are able to see through the lenses of those energies of joy, love, and gratitude, and attract people and opportunities at those same frequencies. Gratitude is another form of self-love. It is a gift you can give yourself even when feeling low. Gratitude can assist in awakening your inner wisdom and remembering your light.
Awaken to the light and love that you innately are and notice how this shifts your perception to see through the lens of love. Allow your light to illuminate your world.
Mantra: I AM The Light.
